Mixtape 'mono' by Kim Nam Joon

Updated: Sep 11, 2020

I was never a fan of mixtapes until Kim Nam Joon of BTS also known as RM came into my life. Spring Day is the first song of BTS that I listened to and Namjoon is supposedly the intro of the song. When I first heard it, I thought my life span increased 100 more years. God, he sounded hot. His diction sounds soulful to me. After that, I did not let my thirst wait and I started to stan him and the entire BTS. To sum up, that is one of the reasons why Kim Nam Joon is one of my ultimate biases.

I was surprised to Namjoon's latest Mixtape named 'mono'. I did not thought that he will release his second mixtape in 2018. I am glad that the mixtape turned out to be a success. It beaten also one of BTS' albums. The reason why I came here is, I want to share how this mixtape understood me and healed my soul.

There is no song that I do not like. All the tracks are my favorite. I felt a vibe that the lyrics of every song he produced was kinda related to my life so it was easy for me to have a commitment to the mixtape. The songs entitled Moonchild, Forever Rain and UhGood are the songs that I felt familiarity. I felt like the songs were dedicated to me. The lyrics in Moonchild opened my mind. I never thought that Namjoon would be able to come up with a song engaging people to step out of their boxes. Since I call myself a Moonchild, I feel like I could rely to the song whenever I am in a downswing, While, Forever Rain seems like a story teller depicting my life, on how I used to live my life and not going with the flow of how God prepared it. The UhGood served as a song talking to my soul. I always feel calmness every time I listen to this song. All the songs of the mixtape made me feel at home but these three left an impact to me. Here is the tracklist of his mixtape engraved 'mono'.

So here are some of the reasons why I stan KNJ:

  • Namjoon's passion for music is indescribable. At the age of 23, he already wrote and produced more than 100 songs.

  • Namjoon is so innocent. His obsession of crabs or any sea creature is a prominent proof that makes his innocence pellucid. He looks like a child that I want to keep forever.

  • Namjoon's rap and singing skills are breathtaking. His diction and the way he expresses a song/rap is amazing.

  • Namjoon's body proportions are way beyond my standards. He is the tallest in Bangtan with the height of 181 cm, he has a slim body and flawless skin. He is indeed a boyfriend material. Plus, his looks oh God, one of a kind. He is GORGEOUS!

  • I liked how clumsy and destructive he is. It makes him look cute and charming.

  • Namjoon is venerated as a Leader of BTS. His leadership is out of this world. I have never seen such a man handling a group of boys well organized and he even turned it into a family.

  • Namjoon's special assets are indeed admirable. He knows variety of languages such as English, Japanese, Chinese and his mother tongue, Korean.

  • Namjoon is the most humblest person you will ever know.

  • He never changed even though BTS is huge now. He is still the same as before. The same Rap Monster that I used to love.

  • He don't eat sea foods, he befriends them. Omo, he is like Seungjae of TROS uwu

  • His intelligence is incredible. He is the smartest and has the highest IQ among BTS.

  • When he decided to stay in Bangtan despite all the bashes he got from antis, that made me love him even more.

To Namjoon, thank you for showing me how wonderful life is and for teaching me how to love myself. Thank you for being my inspiration ever since I discovered Bangtan. Thank you for being my source of happiness. I love you to the Moon and back. Borahae!
